Not only will it free your partner up to be able to tend to other tasks, such as supporting you with relaxing massages it also activates Gate Theory Control. This asserts that when painful stimuli (such as a contraction) is felt at the same time as non-painful stimuli (such as with this “handy” acupressure tool - pun definitely intended) pain signals are then limited from reaching the brain.

This helps to defuse the pain and allows you to concentrate on other things during your birth. Long in length, so you can squeeze with both hands if needed.
