Keep your baby or toddler warm and cosy with a 100% merino short-sleeved bodysuit. Great for layering under sleepwear at night or as an extra chest layer during cool winter days, this Merino bodysuit is an essential tool for keeping baby comfy in winter. Made from 220gsm Australian Merino Wool, this bodysuit is thicker than many others, yet still super soft - our customers love how soft The Sleep Store Merino range is. Made from a rib merino knit, this bodysuit has great stretch for wriggly babies and easily accommodates cloth nappies. The stretch, combined with the envelope neck, makes it easy to dress baby. Sturdy, reinforced domes ensure your merino short-sleeve bodysuit will stand the test of time.
Merino is naturally temperature-regulating and moisture-wicking, making it an ideal extra layer under our Merino Onesies or under any other day or nightwear where little tummies need to be warm and cosy. The larger sizes are great for babies and toddlers who are on the move because; domes mean the bodysuit won't ride up, keeping their backs warm all day! Plus we also love that Merino is naturally fire retardant. Of course, we recommend keeping your children well away from any heaters and fires ("a metre from the heater!") but Merino is a naturally low fire danger fabric.
At The Sleep Store, we love to find amazing products that help children sleep better. Layers of merino are essential in helping children sleep better in winter, so we are delighted to add these lovely quality merino bodysuits to our Deluxe Merino Rib range. As with all Sleep Store products, your merino is easy to care for. We only develop products that are easy for parents!!! The rib merino dries amazingly quickly and can be machine-washed on a wool cycle (see full washing instructions below).
As with many wool garments, you may experience a bit of pilling on this garment. Please note this is often due to a soft fibre such as merino rubbing against other fabrics, such as flannelette sheets. We consider pilling a normal part of wear and tear on a soft merino garment. We could have treated the fabric much more to reduce pilling but then it would lose its lovely, snuggly softness.

Care for your merino
As with many wool garments, you may experience a bit of pilling on this garment. Please take care with moths
Protect
your Merino from small holes created by insects such as moths and
silverfish. Ensure your garments are clean before storing. Lavender and
Cedar wood are noxious to these pests so storing your garments with
these scents or a moth trap will help protect your knitwear further.
Love your Merino and it will love you back!
