A Guide to Our New Website

It is your turn Australia! Our new shiny website is now live in Australia too. We’ve spent over a year preparing and refining the launch of our new websites to make it easier than ever for you to use. We hope you like it!


A few things to note

 

  • If you have shopped with us in Australia, you will get an email to reset your password. Your email has been registered to transfer your points over....but for security, you do need to set a password. Once you've reset your password you can log into your new SleepPoints account.

  • Your existing loyalty points will be swapped over as store credit, you can spend it or save it. See our helpful video explaining this in more details below
  • If you have shopped with us before you can't use the 'Create an Account' as your email already has been used for your new Sleep Points account.

  • You can add your address(es) in My Account after setting your password or later when you checkout.

  • Loyalty points become SleepPoints Rewards...which lots of you had input into a while back. You can now earn points in lots of ways & redeeem them for either store credit or product rewards.

  • AFTERPAY! Thanks for only waiting a year for us to get your favourite payment program, which we know you've all been waiting for. Along with Afterpay there are a number of different payment options - Credit Card, Zippay, Afterpay and WeChatPay. Please note, Paypal is no longer a payment option in Australia.

  • Notify me. With our new shiny website comes the 'notify me' option. This means if something is out of stock you can pop your email address in to be notified as soon as the stock arrives. This is proving very popular with our New Zealand customers.
  • It won't be perfect, despite a year of working on it. But we're stoked to have this live and we hope you like exploring the new site and checking out the various new features.
  • Older phones/ipads/internet explore may experience more issues as Big Commerce is a new platform whereas our old site used 10 year old technology so worked better with old systems......but things have to change.

Look out for our reset password email

If you have shopped with us on our Australian website after April 2017 (even if you checked out as a guest) please keep an eye out for our email asking you to reset your password! This is how you can transfer your loyalty points balance to our new website.  

Your points balance has been transferred as our new store credit, you can spend it at the checkout. Our new SleepPoints are earned in LOTS of ways, not just shopping. Redeem them in the cart store credit (ie $ discount) or you can purchase cool product rewards in the cart.

If you don't think you've recieved your email please check your spam, junk or promotions folder. It may be in there!


How do I reset my password?

We're sending you an email if you have shopped with us after April 2017 (even if you checked out as a guest) however you can also reset your password to claim your store credit / loyalty points balance via the link below. If you don't receive the reset email, please check your spam, junk, promotions, others etc.
If you still have issues, please contact our team who can issue you a temp password to enable you to log-in and change it yourself.

What if I've never shopped with you before?

If you've never shopped with us in Australia before, you can create an account.

If I have a SleepPoints Account on your NZ website, do I need to create a new account for Australia?

Yes. They are two different websites. If you have an account with us in New Zealand, and want to have an account in Australia as well, you will need to create a new account. These are not linked, so doing the reset password process will no work (unless this is the email you use already in Australia too).  
Sometimes customers have accounts in both NZ and Australia as they like to send gifts to friends and family living accross the ditch. Please note, that a good way to look at this, is that your billing address can be from any country, but the delivery address needs to be for Australia (if purchased on the Australian website) or New Zealand if purchased on the NZ website.  

Where is my Store Credit, and how is this different to SleepPoints?

When you earn SleepPoints in our new program, you can use these points in a number of ways - either use them to redeem cool product rewards (in the shopping cart), or you can redeem them as Store Credit, which you can then use towards your order.

If you were an existing customer of ours, we have transferred your existing loyalty points across for you as Store Credit.

Store credit balances (and any SleepPoints you redeem for Store Credit) will be shown in the payment screen, as store credit is a type of payment.

Is your order history transferred to the new site?

Order history of what products you purchased was not transferred as too much data but we have all of it in our accounting system.

Any existing loyalty points are transferred as store credit, so you'll see this when you log-in to your account and you can spent it immediately at the checkout.
Going forward, you earn SleepPoints, which can then be redeemed into store credit or product rewards.


Will I be able to track my order and see my new order history for purchases on your new website?

Yes! With our new website, all purchased me when you are logged into your account will you earn SleepPoints AND you will be able to see your order history, the status of each order and get the tracking link once it has been dispatched from our warehouse, all in one spot - under 'My Account'.


I have an Existing Gift Voucher from your old website. How do I use this on your new website?

You definitely can use this, the value of your gift voucher has been transferred over. When using an existing gift voucher from our old site, you just need to enter the voucher code into the 'promotional code' box, rather than the 'Gift Voucher' section. Only gift vouchers purchased on our new site will able to be redeemed by entering code into the Gift Voucher section.


Have wishlists been transferred to the new site?

Our wishlist function on our new site is more reliable and easier to use. We could not bring across wishlists from our old site however. You can now add things to a new wishlist from multiple places as you browse and shop including the from the shopping cart and product page. Look for the heart icon, tap it and if you are logged in it will save it to your wishlist. Wondering what that icon is next to the heart icon? That's our new compare function, tap that on two items to compare them - so easy!


What is SleepPoints rewards?

SleepPoints Rewards is our new loyalty program. By creating an account and shopping with us you’ll automatically start earning SleepPoints, which you can redeem as Store Credit or use to get special gifts! There are SO many new ways to earn points too – like following us on social media, reviewing your purchases, referring a friend or signing up to our newsletter!

Can I still earn SleepPoints when I checkout as a guest?

If you have an ACCOUNT with us, a cool feature on our new site is that you still earn your SleepPoints when you checkout as a guest using your normal email address. You can't spend store credit or points & the order history is saved as a guest rather than on your account. But it does mean you never miss out on earning points. Hopefully though with the better password reset function you'll find it easy to log-in. However you MUST HAVE an account BEFORE you can start earning points, they can't be applied after if you first checkout as a guest
