DoseBuddy is a reusable medicine syringe kit for parents, with laser-etched markings that won't rub off, a soft silicone sleeve that's easy to hold and gentle on gums and teeth, and an innovative cap that draws medicine straight from the bottle - no pouring, no spilling, no sticky mess on the bench.

The thumb loop lets you dose with one hand. Useful when the other one is busy holding a wriggly toddler.

Made from borosilicate glass and food-grade, BPA-free silicone. Dishwasher safe. Built to last.

10ml syringe kit is suitable for doses over 2.5mls. Measurement markings are in 0.25ml increments.

Remove DoseBuddy from its packaging and clean with hot soapy water before first use. Place the DoseBuddy bottle cap over the neck of the medicine bottle, pushing down firmly to ensure a secure fit. Insert the DoseBuddy syringe into the cap, pressing down firmly to ensure a secure fit. Tip the bottle upside down and pull the plunger out slowly to draw up the prescribed dose. If you notice an air bubble forming, push the contents of the syringe back into the bottle and re-draw the dose. Ensure the dose is drawn to the correct marking in line with the top of the glass syringe barrel while holding the device at eye level. Administer gently into the child's mouth.

What is DoseBuddy?

DoseBuddy is a 10 ml reusable, parent-designed syringe kit for giving liquid medicine to babies and kids. It’s made with a tempered glass barrel, food-grade silicone sleeve and cap, and a BPA-free plastic plunger. It’s sturdier than the cheap ones you get with the bottle, the numbers don’t rub off, and it helps you reach medicine at the bottom of the bottle. Less mess, less stress.

What materials is DoseBuddy made from?
DoseBuddy uses durable, high-quality materials chosen for safety, longevity, and ease of cleaning:
A borosilicate glass barrel that’s strong, smooth, and resists scratches.
Food-grade silicone sleeve, bung, and cap - soft on gums and easy to clean.
A BPA-free plastic plunger, designed for a precise fit and lasting performance.

Is DoseBuddy dishwasher safe?
Yes, You can wash with warm soapy water or pop it in the dishwasher in the cutlery holder. Find full use and cleaning instructions here.

How does the cap work?
The silicone cap is designed to fit snugly on most children’s liquid medicine bottles. Attach it, flip the bottle, and draw up your dose straight through the cap — no extra pouring or mess. For smaller bottle necks, DoseBuddy works well without the cap by simply holding the syringe snuggly into the neck. We do not guarantee a fit on every bottle.

Does the DoseBuddy cap replace the usual medicine bottle lid?
No. The DoseBuddy cap has a small hole for the syringe, so it doesn’t keep medicine sealed and it isn’t child-proof. Always replace your medicine’s original cap straight after use.

Are there different sized caps?
Not at the moment. The cap is designed to fit the most common medicine bottle necks and has some natural flex thanks to the silicone.
If your bottle has a smaller neck, you can use DoseBuddy without the cap. For larger necks, use DoseBuddy like a regular syringe (only better, because the numbers won’t rub off).
We don’t guarantee the cap will fit every bottle.

Is DoseBuddy compatible with ENFit feeding tubes?
No.

We offer fast, economical shipping to Australia, dispatched every week day from our Auckland, New Zealand warehouse. All items on our website are in stock, ready to dispatch (excludes pre-order). Please allow 3-5 working days for main centres, 5 working days for outside of main centres and up to 8 working days for heavy or bulky orders.

Shipping starts from $12 for small items. Just add your items to your cart and use the Shipping Estimator in the Mini Cart or Cart with your post code. Please double check your shipping in the checkout, particularly for large items which the estimator doesn’t accurately calculate.

All packages are sent with New Zealand Post and delivered by Australia Post.

Packages are labelled with a Signature with Authority to Leave if they are less than $300 value so delivery doesn’t require you to be home. Please let us know if you need Signature Required for security concerns.
