They can be used from 18 to 28 degrees by varying the clothing inside the bag. Ideal for day sleeps year round, and night from spring through to autumn. 3-Seasons Woolbabes are made from 2 layers of gorgeous 30% merino/70% soft organic cotton blend fabric, a beautifully soft fabric exclusive to Woolbabe! So soft and smooth, 3-Seasons Woolbabes are even suitable for babies with eczema or sensitive skin.
Relax! I'm Cosy. This sums up what Woolbabe is all about. Helping babies sleep better, stay just the right temperature and helping parents relax about their baby's sleep. The combination of merino and organic cotton offers the best of both worlds. The merino component helps to regulate body temperatures, keeping your baby a comfortable temperature all night. This gives you peace of mind and helps everyone get more sleep.
Woolbabe Sleeping Bags provide a number of benefits:
- Your baby sleeps safely as no bedding can get over their face
- Your baby stays a consistent temperature all night as their bedding can't be kicked off
- Your baby develops a strong sleep association with their Woolbabe, meaning it helps them know when it is sleep time
The Front Zip model is very quick and easy to use, just pop your baby's arms through the arm-holes and zip it closed. The under-arm snaps means it is a more cosy fit when your baby it near the bottom end of the size range. This Woolbabe can also be used in your buggy with a 5-point harness. It has a double-ended zip on the front that closes at the top and zips downwards. It can also be unzipped from the bottom and opened upwards for nappy changing. There is a buggy slot in the back of the bag, which can be used with the double-ended zip on the front.

Choose the correct size Woolbabe Sleeping bag or sleepwear item for your baby now. Choosing to purchase a size that is too big for your baby puts them at risk of it not fitting safely. If you're worried that you'll only get a few months of use, keep in mind that Woolbabe sleeping bags are generously sized and are the longest baby sleeping bags on the market. We often get positive feedback from parents that their 2 year olds are still using their 3-24 month size Woolbabe sleeping bag comfortably and haven't yet outgrown it.
Please note - Measurements are taken when garments are laid flat. Areas such as chest, waist, armhole and hips are calculated at twice the width to get the full measurement.

Note: This is a guide only. It is important not to overheat your baby. The best guide is to consider whether the heating, bedding and clothing would add up to a comfortable sleeping temperature for you. The ideal room temperature for children is 16 to 20 degrees Celsius, with 18 degrees considered perfect! Please consult your medical professional for further advice if required.
Should I buy a front or side zip woolbabe?
The main considerations are how wriggly your child is and how often you will use the travel slot. If your child is very wriggly or likes to stand up in the cot we recommend a front-zip bag, as they may otherwise pop open the shoulder domes on a side zip bag.
The travel slot in the front-zip bag is only in the back, which means that little feet are unlikely to go through the slot which can happen with a side-zip bag. However if you use the travel slot often you may prefer the slot in the front and back.
One other advantage of the side-zip woolbabe is that it opens out completely flat. This can make nappy changing a bit easier.

Woolbabe developed and uses innovative fabric as a real point of difference from all the other sleeping bags which are now on the market. We combine two natural fibres - merino wool & organic cotton - to make one luxurious fabric which is used in all our sleeping bags. The strength and durability of cotton, with the amazing temperature regulation and moisture absorption of merino...what a wonderful combination. The woolbabe fabric was originally developed by the CSIRO Fabric Division in Geelong with great attention to detail. Our gorgeous fabric designs, along our plush wool filling, have become the signature of Woolbabe. Woolbabe and The Sleep Store are a perfect fit, as we are both passionate about families getting more sleep! Woolbabe has long been the best-selling sleeping brand at The Sleep Store, as more and more Australasian families discover our lovely sleeping bags, enjoy better sleep and tell their friends. We are developing innovative new sleep solutions for woolbabe and continually looking at how we can help you have peace of mind and more sleep for your family.
