What tog is a Duvet Weight sleeping bag? Our Woolbabe sleeping bags are a merino blend and are not tog rated. This is because merino is a natural fibre that adjusts according to temperature. Customers that are looking for a 2.5 tog sleeping bag often choose the duvet weight Woolbabe because it can be used in similar room temperature ranges but can also be used over a broader temperature range than traditional 2.5 tog sleeping bags making it a more versatile choice.

The Side Zip model is excellent for easy nappy changing, as you can open it from the bottom. It opens fully, so is simple for airing over the side of the cot and hanging out for quicker drying. The under-arm snaps means it is a more cosy fit when your baby it near the bottom end of the size range. This Woolbabe can also be used in your buggy with a 5-point harness, with a buggy slot in the front and back of the bag. It has a double-ended zip which closes under the arm, making it very easy to open and close just as much as you need!!

All Woolbabe Sleeping Bags have underarm snaps for a better fit when you start using a sleeping bag.

Choose the correct size Woolbabe Sleeping bag or sleepwear item for your baby now. Choosing to purchase a size that is too big for your baby puts them at risk of it not fitting safely. If you're worried that you'll only get a few months of use, keep in mind that Woolbabe sleeping bags are generously sized and are the longest baby sleeping bags on the market. We often get positive feedback from parents that their 2 year olds are still using their 3-24 month size Woolbabe sleeping bag comfortably and haven't yet outgrown it.

Please note - Measurements are taken when garments are laid flat. Areas such as chest, waist, armhole and hips are calculated at twice the width to get the full measurement.

How to Use

Should I buy a front or side zip Woolbabe?

The main considerations are how wriggly your child is and how often you will use the travel slot. If your child is very wriggly or likes to stand up in the cot we recommend a front-zip bag, as they may otherwise pop open the shoulder domes on a side zip bag.

The travel slot in the front-zip bag is only in the back, which means that little feet are unlikely to go through the slot which can happen with a side-zip bag. However if you use the travel slot often you may prefer the slot in the front and back.

One other advantage of the side-zip Woolbabe is that it opens out completely flat. This can make nappy changing a bit easier.

We offer fast, economical shipping to Australia, dispatched every week day from our Auckland, New Zealand warehouse. All items on our website are in stock, ready to dispatch (excludes pre-order or custom size items). Please allow 3-5 working days for main centres, 5 working days for outside of main centres and up to 10 working days for heavy or bulky orders.

Shipping starts from $8 for small items. Just add your items to your cart and use the Shipping Estimator in the Mini Cart or Cart with your post code. Please double check your shipping in the checkout, particularly for large items which the estimator doesn’t accurately calculate.

The majority of packages are shipped with Toll Priority. Bulky or heavy items will generally be shipped with Omni/Australia Post.

Packages are labelled with an Authority to Leave if they are less than $300 value so delivery doesn’t require you to be home. Please let us know if you need Signature Required for security concerns. PO Box or Parcel Locker orders are sent with Omni/Aus Post.
