| Care | Wash with similar colours. Gentle cold machine wash or 30°C with approved liquid wool wash. Do not soak or bleach. Dry immediately - lay flat or hang carefully to dry in shade. Do not wring dry or tumble dry. When dry, gently shake off free excess fluff Do not iron. Do not dry clean. |
I'm naturally fluffy
These
garments are naturally fluffy but washing separately for the first few
washes will help the natural wool fibres on the inside to settle and
will free any excess fluff.
Care for your Wool
As with many wool garments, you may experience a bit of pilling on this garment. Please note this is often due to a soft fibre such as merino wool rubbing against other fabrics, such as flannelette sheets. We consider pilling a normal part of wear and tear on a soft merino wool garment. We could have treated the fabric much more to reduce pilling but then it would lose its lovely, snuggly softness.
Please take care with moths
Protect
your Wool from small holes created by insects such as moths and
silverfish. Ensure your garments are clean before storing. Lavender and
Cedar wood are noxious to these pests so storing your garments with
these scents or a moth trap will help protect your knitwear further.
What are the major differences between The Sleep Store Merino Wool garments?
This merino wool and tencel blend is silky smooth against the skin has a comfortable stretch and is super lightweight. The tencel component makes this garment quick drying. Perfect for all year round use, it is the lightest of all our merino at 165gsm. Amazing weight for warmer weather.
Jersey Merino
The jersey merino wool is super smooth and soft, feels like high quality t-shirt fabric and has a comfortable stretch to it - not as much as the deluxe merino wool rib. Great for all year round at 200gsm. Good for summer babies.
Deluxe Merino Rib
This is a rib knit merino wool meaning it's structure is made up of rows of stitching. This gives this merino a really beautiful stretch with cross grain elasticity. It is so soft and great for all year round at 220gsm.
Merino Tencel Fleece
The most fluffy fleecy softness on the inside, with a smooth sweatshirt look on the outside, and most definitely the warmest of them all at 270gsm.

We offer fast, economical shipping to Australia, dispatched every week day from our Auckland, New Zealand warehouse. All items on our website are in stock, ready to dispatch (excludes pre-order). Please allow 3-5 working days for main centres, 5 working days for outside of main centres and up to 8 working days for heavy or bulky orders.
Shipping starts from $12 for small items. Just add your items to your cart and use the Shipping Estimator in the Mini Cart or Cart with your post code. Please double check your shipping in the checkout, particularly for large items which the estimator doesn’t accurately calculate.
All packages are sent with New Zealand Post and delivered by Australia Post.
Packages are labelled with a Signature with Authority to Leave if they are less than $300 value so delivery doesn’t require you to be home. Please let us know if you need Signature Required for security concerns.

Returned items must be received back in perfect condition, unused and unwashed condition including the instructions and packaging. Please ensure you carefully package items so they are received back in perfect condition.
